Marmelade
Marmelade is a false friend because it means jam, which can be made from any type of fruit, as opposed to marmalade, which is made from citrus fruits. (Note also the difference in spelling.) If you specifically wanted to ask Do you sell marmalade? in Germany, then you would need to say Haben Sie Orangenmarmelade?

In Germany, people see in the New Year by letting off a firework when midnight chimes. Another tradition, called Bleigießen, is to pour a small amount of molten lead into a bowl of cold water. It is supposedly possible to tell your fortune for the coming year from the shape of the solidified lead.
