| These are the compulsory or optional courses offered at sixth form level in the senior high school ( Gymnasium) with the aim of providing a basic knowledge of a given subject. All pupils have to choose two courses out of German, mathematics and a foreign language. These will be tested as part of the final leaving certificate ( Abitur). |
